What you love most doing and lose all\u00a0perception\u00a0of time and space while doing it.\u00a0We all have our individual talent, and I think it\u2019s each of our responsibility to connect to what you love most, and devote yourself to it\u00a0interlay.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Ken talkes about education and\u00a0creativity. About the importance of each finding their own way in the world to express their true being.\u00a0He talkes about what is so disturbing in the\u00a0assembly\u00a0line education\u00a0system, which\u00a0basically\u00a0trys to\u00a0fit\u00a0us all into a\u00a0labeled\u00a0box.<\/p>\n<p>I discovered Sir Ken Robinson a year ago in his TED talkes from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/lang\/en\/ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creativity.html\">2006<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/sir_ken_robinson_bring_on_the_revolution.html\">2010<\/a>. I STRONGLY recommend seeing them both in the right order.\u00a0He\u00a0basically says in them all that he says\u00a0in the essay which was recommended by the staff, and\u00a0frankly, I think he\u2019s much funnier in them.\u00a0For those of you who are inspired by him like I was- read his books! \u2018The Element\u2019, and \u2018Time Out of Our Mind\u2019 (which I\u2019m currently reading).<\/p>\n<p>Ken preaches we should all find our tribes to help us connect to our element.\u00a0A group of people who share their passion and a desire to make the most of themselves through it.<br \/>\nI feel so lucky to join a tribe like ITP\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/classes\/appr-fall2012\/2012\/09\/09\/what-is-the-element\/\">The link to the post\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>-A response to \u2018The Element\u2019 by Sir Ken Robinson.
